Atithi-prāpti and the Brāhmaṇa’s Deliberation on Triadic Dharma (अतिथिप्राप्तिः धर्मत्रयविचारश्च)
सुतप्तं च तपो देवा ममाराधनकाम्यया । भोक्ष्यथास्य महासत्त्वास्तपस: फलमुत्तमम्
sutataptaṃ ca tapo devā māmārādhanakāmyayā | bhokṣyathāsya mahāsattvāstapasaḥ phalam uttamam ||
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。「大いなる堅忍を備えた神々よ。汝らは我を供養し、我が心を喜ばせんとの願いから、苛烈な苦行を引き受け耐え抜いた。汝らは必ずや、そのタパスより生ずる最上の果報を享受するであろう。」
