नास्ति तस्मात् परो<न्यो हि पिता देवो5थवा द्विज । आत्मा हि न: स विज्ञेयस्ततस्तं पूजयावहे,ब्रह्म! उससे बढ़कर दूसरा कोई देवता या पितर नहीं है। वही हमलोगोंका आत्मा है, यह जानना चाहिये। अतः: हम उसीकी पूजा करते हैं
nāsti tasmāt paro 'nyo hi pitā devo 'thavā dvija | ātmā hi naḥ sa vijñeyas tatas taṃ pūjayāvahe ||
ナーラダは宣する。「それより上なるものはない。ほかの神も、ほかの祖霊の父もないのだ、二度生まれし者よ。それこそが我らの自己であると知るべきである。ゆえに、この理を知って、われらはただそれのみを礼拝する。」
