आसीत् किल महाराज शुकाभिपतने तदा । महाराज! देवता
āsīt kila mahārāja śukābhipatane tadā | mahārāja! devatā gandharva ṛṣi yakṣa rākṣasa ca vidyādharaś ca tān apūjayan | tataḥ śukadevasya ūrdhvaṃ samutthitasya teṣāṃ divyapuṣpavṛṣṭyā sarvato gaganaṃ samantāc chāditam abhavat |
ビーシュマは言った。「大王よ、その時、シュカが去ろうとした折、神々、ガンダルヴァ、仙人、ヤクシャ、ラークシャサ、そしてヴィディヤーダラたちが礼拝して彼を讃えたという。さらにシュカデーヴァがその地から上空へ昇ると、彼らの捧げた天上の花が雨のように降りそそぎ、四方の空はことごとく花に覆われたかのようであった。」
