अग्नीषोमोत्पत्तिः
Agni–Soma Origin and the Brahmāgnīṣomīya Doctrine
शुकस्यैतद् वच: श्रुत्वा व्यास: परमविस्मित: । अनध्यायनिमित्तेडस्मिन्निदं वचनमब्रवीत्
śukasyaitad vacaḥ śrutvā vyāsaḥ paramavismitaḥ | anadhyāya-nimitte 'sminn idaṃ vacanam abravīt ||
ビーシュマは語った。シュカのこの言葉を聞いて、ヴィヤーサは深い驚きに打たれた。そこで彼は、「アナドゥヤーヤ」（ヴェーダ学習の停止）の理由と意味を明らかにしようとして、次のように語り始めた。
