अपृच्छत् पितरं ब्रह्मन् कुतो वायुरभूदयम् । आख्यातुमहति भवान् वायो: सर्व विचेष्टितम्
apṛcchat pitaraṃ brahman kuto vāyur abhūd ayam | ākhyātum arhati bhavān vāyoḥ sarva-viceṣṭitam ||
彼は父に問うた。「ブラーフマナよ、この風はいずこより起こったのですか。あなたは風（ヴァーユ）のあらゆる働きを、余すところなく説き明かすにふさわしいお方です。」
