अध्याय ३२३ — श्वेतद्वीपगमनम्, यज्ञभाग-विवादः, एकान्तिभक्त्या नारायणदर्शन-नियमः (Śvetadvīpa Journey; Dispute over Sacrificial Share; Rule of Nārāyaṇa-vision through Single-minded Devotion)
tadbhāvabhāvī tadbuddhis tadātmā tadapāśrayaḥ | tejasā vṛtya lokāṃs trīn yaśaḥ prāpsyati te sutaḥ ||
Single-pointed devotion and reliance on the Supreme—when intellect (buddhi), inner self (ātman), and refuge (āśraya) are centered on Bhagavān—yields spiritual radiance (tejas) and enduring, dharmic fame (yaśas).
Bhīṣma, speaking in the Śānti Parva’s instruction section, foretells or describes the spiritual character of a certain son: he will be God-centered in thought and being, and through his tejas he will become renowned across the three worlds.
