तस्मात्‌ तद्‌ वै भवदबुद्धा श्रोतुमिच्छामि ब्राह्मण । भवान्‌ प्रबर्ह: शास्त्राणां प्रगल्भश्चातिबुद्धिमान्‌

tasmāt tad vai bhavadbuddhā śrotum icchāmi brāhmaṇa | bhavān prabarhaḥ śāstrāṇāṁ pragalbhaś cātibuddhimān ||

ゆえに、婆羅門よ、そなた自身の智慧によって定められたその結論を、わたしは聞きたい。そなたはシャーストラの学匠の中でも最も卓越し、論理に自信を備え、比類なき聡明さを有する。語れ。正法(ダルマ)と健全な分別に従って、この事が決着するように。
