अव्यक्त-गुण-पुरुषविवेकः | Avyakta, Guṇas, and Discrimination of Puruṣa
वणिक्ययथं द्विजं क्षत्रं वैश्यशूद्रांस्तथैव च । दानं च विविधाकारं दीनान्धकृपणादिषु
vaṇig yathāṁ dvijaṁ kṣatraṁ vaiśyaśūdrāṁs tathaiva ca | dānaṁ ca vividhākāraṁ dīnāndhakṛpaṇādiṣu ||
ヴァシシュタは言った。「商人のように、ある時は交易に従事し、ある時はブラーフマナとクシャトリヤの務めを行い、またある時はヴァイシャやシュードラの生業をも引き受ける。さらに彼は、苦しむ者、盲なる者、貧しき者など、困窮する人々に多様な施しを与える。」
