परमात्मानमासाद्य तद्भूतायतनामला: । अमृतत्वाय कल्पन्ते न निवर्तन्ति वा विभो
paramātmānam āsādya tadbhūtāyatanāmalāḥ | amṛtatvāya kalpante na nivartanti vā vibho ||
ビーシュマは言った。パラマートマン(Paramātman)に到達したとき、かのヨーギーたちは—すでに清められ、「それ」を自らの存在の根拠としてそこに安住し—不死にふさわしい者となる。おお大能者よ、彼らは再び戻らない(世の再生へと)。
भीष्म उवाच
Union with the Supreme Self culminates in purification and deathlessness; the liberated yogin does not return to the cycle of rebirth.
Bhishma, instructing on liberation, describes the final result of spiritual realization: the yogin attains the Paramatman, becomes identified with That, and is freed from return to worldly existence.
