युधिछिर उवाच यदि तुल्य॑ व्रतं शौच॑ दया चात्र फलं तथा । न तुल्य॑ दर्शनं कस्मात्‌ तन्मे ब्रूहि पितामह

Yudhiṣṭhira uvāca: yadi tulyaṃ vrataṃ śaucaṃ dayā cātra phalaṃ tathā | na tulyaṃ darśanaṃ kasmāt tan me brūhi pitāmaha ||

ユディシュティラは言った。「祖父よ、もしこの二つの立場において、誓戒のすぐれたこと、内外の清浄、そして慈悲が等しく、得られる果もまた同じであるなら、なぜそのダルシャナ――哲学的立脚点――は同一ではないのですか。どうか私に説き明かしてください。」
