अध्याय २९७ — श्रेयः, धृति, दान-नियमाः
Welfare, Steadfastness, and Norms of Giving
आयुषि क्षयमापन्ने पठचत्वमुपगच्छति । तथा हाकारणाद् भवति कारणैरुपपादितम्
āyuṣi kṣayam āpanne paṭhatvam upagacchati | tathā hākāraṇād bhavati kāraṇair upapāditam ||
パラーシャラは言った。「定められた寿命が尽きかけると、人は無力と衰退に陥る。同様に、原因なくして何ものも生起しない。起こることはすべて、しかるべき因によって成り立つのである。」
