पराशर उवाच
Dharma is the highest and most consistently praised human value; those who are established in dharma naturally cultivate only good qualities (guṇas), making virtue the practical expression of righteousness.
Parāśara addresses a king and offers moral instruction, emphasizing that public esteem and true human excellence rest on dharma, and that the dharmic person’s life is characterized by the deliberate practice of virtues.
