श्रेयो-धर्मकर्मविचारः

इत्येतदाख्यातमहीनसत्त्व नारायणस्येह बल॑ मया ते,उत्कृष्ट बलशाली दैत्यराज! इस प्रकार यहाँ मैंने तुमसे यह भगवान् नारायणका बल एवं प्रभाव बताया है”
ity etad ākhyātam ahīna-sattva nārāyaṇasyeha balaṁ mayā te | utkṛṣṭa-balaśālī daitya-rāja! evaṁ mayātra tubhyaṁ bhagavato nārāyaṇasya balaṁ prabhāvaṁ ca kathitam ||
ビーシュマは言った。「勇気の衰えぬ者よ、比類なき力を備えた強大なるダイティヤ王よ！かくしてここに、我は汝に主ナーラーヤナの力と、顕現する偉大さとを語り尽くした。願わくはこの理解が驕りを抑え、心を堅く鎮め、力を正法の行いへと向け、神聖なるものとの競い合いへ向かわせぬように。」
