अथान्तरिक्षे वागासीत्‌ तां च शुश्राव जाजलि: । धर्मेण न समस्त्वं वै तुलाधारस्य जाजले

Transliteration

athāntarikṣe vāg āsīt tāṃ ca śuśrāva jājaliḥ | dharmeṇa na samas tvaṃ vai tulādhārasya jājale ||

Translation

そのとき虚空に声が起こり、ジャージャリはそれを聞いた。「ジャージャリよ、ダルマにおいて汝はトゥラーダーラに及ばぬ。カーシーには大いなる知を備えた商人トゥラーダーラが住む。婆羅門の中の最勝者よ、そのトゥラーダーラでさえ、汝のようには語らぬであろう。」かくしてジャージャリは天の告げを聞き、その自負は抑えられ、より真実の義へと向けられた。
