कपिलगोसंवादे गृहस्थ-त्यागधर्मयोः प्रमाण्यविचारः

अतीतास्वथ वर्षासु शरत्काल उपस्थिते । प्राजापत्येन विधिना विश्वासात् काममोहितौ
atītāsv atha varṣāsu śaratkāla upasthite | prājāpatyena vidhinā viśvāsāt kāmamohitau, rājan |
ビーシュマは語った。雨季が過ぎ去り、秋の季節が到来すると、あの雀たちは欲望に惑わされ、プラジャーパティが定めた生殖の法に従って互いに交わった。そしてその苦行者の無害さと不動の堅固さを信じ、ついには聖者の頭上に卵を産み落とした。厳しい誓戒を守る光輝あるバラモンは、鳥たちが自らの結い固めた髪（ジャター）の中に卵を置いたことを知った。
