Jājali–Tulādhāra-saṃvāda: Yajña, Vṛtti, and Ātma-tīrtha (जाजलि-तुलाधार-संवादः)
तस्मिन्नभिगते स्थाणौ प्रजानां हितकाम्यया । अब्रवीत् परमो देवो ज्वलन्निव तदा शिवम्,प्रजावर्गके हितकी इच्छासे महादेवजीके अपने सामने आनेपर तेजसे जलते हुए-से परमदेव ब्रह्माजी उनसे इस प्रकार बोले--
tasminn abhigate sthāṇau prajānāṁ hitakāmyayā | abravīt paramo devo jvalann iva tadā śivam ||
斯塔ーヌ(シヴァ)が衆生の安寧を願ってそのように来臨すると、至上神ブラフマーは、光輝に燃えるがごとく、シヴァに向かって語りかけた。
नारद उवाच
The verse foregrounds loka-hita (the welfare of beings) as a legitimate and elevated motive for approaching authority: even divine action and speech are framed as arising from concern for prajā (creatures/subjects), aligning power with responsibility and dharma.
Nārada reports that Śiva (called Sthāṇu) is approached with the intention of benefiting living beings; in response, Brahmā—described as radiant and blazing—addresses Śiva, setting up a divine exchange that follows.
