आकाशे ददृशे ज्योतिरुद्यतार्चि:समप्रभम् । तयो: समीप त॑ प्राप्तं॑ प्रत्यदुश्यत भारत
ākāśe dadṛśe jyotir udyatārciḥ-samaprabham | tayoḥ samīpaṃ tat prāptaṃ pratyadṛśyata bhārata ||
ビーシュマは語った。「天空に、燃え上がる炎のような輝きを放つ光が現れた。おお、バーラタよ。それは二人のもとへ近づいて来るのが見えた。まるで昇りたての太陽の傍らへ第二の太陽が寄り添うかのように—畏るべき神々の光輝が、一歩一歩、彼らへ迫って来たのである。」
