यदा हि शोचत: शोको व्यसन नापकर्षति

yadā hi śocataḥ śoko vyasanaṁ nāpakarṣati

ビーシュマは言う。人が嘆き悲しんでも、悲嘆は災厄を取り除かない。ただ嘆くだけでは不運は覆らぬ。ゆえに、憂いから離れて心を定め、正しい行いへ向かうべきである。忍耐と洞察こそが、逆境に対するふさわしい応答なのだ。
