अहमेवोद्वहाम्यापो विसृजामि च वासव । तपामि चैव त्रैलोक्यं विद्योताम्पहमेव च
aham evodvahāmy āpo visṛjāmi ca vāsava | tapāmi caiva trailokyaṁ vidyotāmy aham eva ca ||
シャクラは言った。「ヴァーサヴァよ、我ひとりが水を汲み上げ、また我ひとりがそれを放つ。我ひとりが三界を熱し、また我ひとりが稲妻となって光明を広げる。」文脈においてこれは、雨・熱・光の循環を担う宇宙的な統御を語り、力とは義務であり、世界の秩序は気まぐれではなく、節度ある目的的な働きによって保たれることを示す。
श॒क्र उवाच
The verse links authority with responsibility: the one who wields power must sustain order through beneficial, regulated action—like the cosmic cycle of lifting waters, releasing rain, giving warmth, and providing light.
Śakra (Indra) speaks in self-assertion, describing his cosmic functions—evaporation, rainfall, heating the worlds, and lightning—emphasizing his role in maintaining the world’s rhythms.
