Restraint of the Senses, Non-harming Truthful Speech, and Discernment of Karmic Consequence

आत्रेयश्व वसिष्ठश्न॒ कश्यपश्च महानृषि:

ātreyaś ca vasiṣṭhaś ca kaśyapaś ca mahān ṛṣiḥ

ビーシュマは言った。「アートレーヤ、ヴァシシュタ、そしてカश्यパ——これらは偉大なる聖仙であった。」ここでビーシュマは、尊崇されるṛṣiたちを権威ある範例として引き、ダルマの論を古の賢聖の証言と威徳に拠って確かなものとしている。
