अध्याय २०८ — इन्द्रियनिग्रहः, सत्याहिंसात्मकवाक्, कर्मफलविवेकः
Restraint of the Senses, Non-harming Truthful Speech, and Discernment of Karmic Consequence
अर्यमा चैव भगवान् ये चास्य तनया विभो । एते प्रदेशा: कथिता भुवनानां प्रभावना:,प्रभो! भगवान् अर्यमा और उनके सभी पुत्र--ये प्रदेश (आदेश देनेवाले शासक) तथा प्रभावन (उत्तम स्रष्टा) कहे गये हैं
aryamā caiva bhagavān ye cāsya tanayā vibho | ete pradeśāḥ kathitā bhuvanānāṃ prabhāvanāḥ prabho ||
ビーシュマは言った。「『尊ぶべき神アリヤマン（Aryaman）と、そのすべての子ら――おお力ある者よ――彼らは“プラデーシャ（pradeśa）”、すなわち権威ある統治者であり、また“プラバーヴァナ（prabhāvana）”、すなわち諸世界を支え増進させる強大な力であると宣言される。主よ。』」
