Manu’s Instruction
सत्य॑ वेदेषु जागार्ति फलं सत्ये परं स्मृतम् । सत्याद् धर्मो दमश्चैव सर्व सत्ये प्रतेष्ठितम्
satyaṁ vedeṣu jāgarti phalaṁ satye paraṁ smṛtam | satyād dharmo damaś caiva sarvaṁ satye pratiṣṭhitam ||
婆羅門は宣言する。ヴェーダの中で真実は常に目覚めており、その偉大さは繰り返し説き明かされる。最高の果は真実そのものに属すると言われる。真実からダルマの成就と自制（ダマ）の獲得が生じ、まことに万物は真実を基として確立している。
