Adhyāya 178 — The courses of prāṇa-vāyu and the regulation of the bodily fire
susambaddhau tu tau damyau damanāyābhiniḥsṛtau | āsīnam uṣṭraṃ madhyena sahasaivābhyadhāvatām ||

The imagery underscores the need for dama (restraint): without training and self-control, raw strength and sudden impulse can cause harm and disorder, whereas disciplined guidance channels power toward rightful action.
Two untrained calves, yoked together and being taken out to be broken in for ploughing, suddenly bolt and rush forward, with a seated camel positioned between them as they charge.
