अद्यैक॑ दिवसं विप्रा न वो5स्तीह भयं क्वचित् | राक्षसे भ्य: प्रमोदध्वमिष्टतो यात माचिरम्
adyaikaṁ divasaṁ viprā na vo ’stīha bhayaṁ kvacit | rākṣasebhyaḥ pramodadhvam iṣṭato yāta mā ciram, rājan |
ビーシュマは言った。「おお、バラモンたちよ。今日――この一日だけは――ここではいかなる場所においても、羅刹（ラークシャサ）から汝らに恐れはない。ゆえに喜び、望む行き先へ速やかに赴け。遅れるな、王よ。」
