Adhyāya 166: Kṛtaghna-doṣa (कृतघ्नदोषः) — the fault of ingratitude and the limits of expiation
इति श्रीमहाभारते शान्तिपर्वणि आपद्धर्मपर्वणि प्रायद्षित्तीये पज्चषष्ट्यधिकशततमो< ध्याय:
iti śrīmahābhārate śāntiparvaṇi āpaddharmaparvaṇi prāyaścittīye pañcaṣaṣṭyadhikaśatatamo 'dhyāyaḥ |
かくして『聖マハーバーラタ』の「シャーンティ・パルヴァ」—とりわけ「アーパッドダルマ(窮迫の法)」の部—において、罪の贖い(プラーヤシュチッタ)の作法を説く第百六十五章は終わる。この結語の奥書は、困難な境遇にあっても定められた贖罪によって倫理の秩序(ダルマ)を回復し得ることを示した、ビーシュマの教誨がここに完結したことを告げる。
