त्वया हि वाच्यमानो<हं जहां प्राणान्‌ सबान्धव: । विश्रम्भो हि बुधैर्दृष्टो मद्विधेषु मनस्विषु

Transliteration

tvayā hi vācyamāno 'haṃ jahāṃ prāṇān sabāndhavaḥ | viśrambho hi budhair dṛṣṭo madvidheṣu manasviṣu ||

Translation

ローマシャは言った。「ただお命じくだされば、私は一族の者とともに、あなたのためにこの命さえ捨てましょう。賢者たちは見てきたのです――私のように気概ある者は信を置くに足りる、と。かかる者に寄せる信頼は、決して誤りではありません。」
