यो विश्वसिति मित्रेषु न विश्वसिति शत्रुषु । अर्थयुक्तिमविज्ञाय य: प्रीती कुरुते मन:
yo viśvasiti mitreṣu na viśvasiti śatruṣu | arthayuktim avijñāya yaḥ prītiṃ kurute manaḥ ||
ビーシュマは言った。「友には信を置き、敵には信を置かぬとしても、利と目的の真の理を知らずして心を愛着に任せる者—その者は分別なく行う。」
