अकृत्वा संविदं काज्चित्‌ सहसा समवपष्लुत: । कृतज्ञं कृतकर्माणं कच्चिन्मां नाभिशंकसे

Transliteration

akṛtvā saṁvidaṁ kāñcit sahasā samavapluṭaḥ | kṛtajñaṁ kṛtakarmāṇaṁ kaccin māṁ nābhiśaṅkase ||

Translation

ビーシュマは語った。「兄弟よ！何の取り決めもなく、ひと言のやり取りすらないまま、なぜ急にこの穴へ滑り込んだのだ。私はお前に感謝している。お前の命を守ったことで、私はお前にとって大きな務めも果たしたのだ。まさか私を疑ってはいまいな？」
