जागर्ति काल: पूर्व च मध्ये चान्ते च भारत । ईश्वर: सर्वलोकस्य महादेव: प्रजापति:
jāgarti kālaḥ pūrvaṃ ca madhye cānte ca bhārata | īśvaraḥ sarvalokasya mahādevaḥ prajāpatiḥ ||
ヴァスハローマは言った。「おおバーラタよ、時（カーラ）はつねに目覚めている——始めにも、中ほどにも、終わりにも。懲らしめ統べる力としてのこの時こそ、万界の主マハーデーヴァの姿であり、万有を扶け整えるプラジャーパティなのである。」
