समशोभत तेजस्वी भूयो भीमात् सुयोधन: । नाना प्रकारके मार्गों और भिन्न-भिन्न मण्डलोंसे विचरते हुए तेजस्वी दुर्योधनकी उस समय भीमसेनसे अधिक शोभा हुई
samaśobhata tejasvī bhūyo bhīmāt suyodhanaḥ |
サञ्जयは言った。「その時、光輝あるスヨーダナ（ドゥルヨーダナ）は、ビーマよりもなお一層、華やかに見えた。さまざまな進退の筋を取り、戦いの輪を変幻させつつ巡るその動きにより、彼の技と威容は一瞬、相手を凌ぐかのようであった。」
