पूषा च पार्षदौ प्रादात्‌ कार्तिकेयाय भारत । भरतनन्दन! पूषाने कार्तिकेयको पाणीतक और कालिक नामक दो पार्षद प्रदान किये। वे दोनों ही बड़े भारी मायावी थे

vaiśampāyana uvāca |

pūṣā ca pārṣadau prādāt kārtikeyāya bhārata |

ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。おおバーラタよ、プーシャもまたカールティケーヤに二人の従者を授けた。名をパーニータカとカーリカという。二人はいずれもマーヤーに長け、強大な幻術の使い手であった。
