अध्याय ४ — दुर्योधनस्य असंधि-निश्चयः

Duryodhana’s Refusal of Reconciliation

“भगवान्‌ श्रीकृष्ण किसीसे पराजित न होनेवाले राजा युधिष्ठिर, अर्जुन और भीमसेनसे जो कुछ भी कहेंगे, वे सब लोग उसे नि:संदेह स्वीकार कर लेंगे ।।

sañjaya uvāca | bhagavān śrīkṛṣṇaḥ kasyacid aparājitaṃ rājānaṃ yudhiṣṭhiram arjunaṃ bhīmasenaṃ ca yat kiṃcid vakṣyati, te sarve tad niḥsaṃdehaṃ pratigrahiṣyanti || nātikramiṣyate kṛṣṇo vacanaṃ kauravasya tu | dhṛtarāṣṭrasya manye'haṃ nāpi kṛṣṇasya pāṇḍavaḥ ||

サンジャヤは言った。「至上なるシュリー・クリシュナが、不屈の決意をもつ王ユディシュティラに、またアルジュナとビー マセーナに告げることは何であれ、彼らは皆、疑いなく受け入れるであろう。私は、クリシュナがクル族の主ドリタラーシュトラの言葉を退けることはないと信じる。さらに同様に、パーンダヴァ(ユディシュティラ)もクリシュナの命に背くことはできまい。」
