अध्याय ४ — दुर्योधनस्य असंधि-निश्चयः
Duryodhana’s Refusal of Reconciliation
तस्य चास्त्राणि दिव्यानि विविधानि महात्मन: । गाण्डीवस्य च निर्घोषो धैर्याणि हरते हि न:,“महात्मा अर्जुनके पास नाना प्रकारके दिव्यास्त्र हैं। उनके गाण्डीव धनुषका गम्भीर घोष हमारा धैर्य छीन लेता है
tasya cāstrāṇi divyāni vividhāni mahātmanaḥ | gāṇḍīvasya ca nirghoṣo dhairyāṇi harate hi naḥ ||
サンジャヤは言った。「大いなる魂を持つアルジュナは、さまざまな天授の武器を備えている。しかも彼のガーンディーヴァ弓の、雷鳴のごとく深く轟く響きは、まことに我らの胆力を奪い去るのだ。」
