Saptasārasvata-tīrtha-prasaṅgaḥ | The Saptasārasvata Pilgrimage Account and the Maṅkaṇaka Narrative
ततः प्रायाद् बलो राजन् दक्षिणेन सरस्वतीम् । राजन! इसी प्रकार विदप्रवृन्दको प्रचुर भोगसामग्री अर्पित करके फिर बलरामजी सरस्वतीके दक्षिण तटपर होकर यात्रा करने लगे
tataḥ prāyād balo rājan dakṣiṇena sarasvatīm |
ついで、王よ、バララーマは出立し、サラスヴァティー河の南岸に沿って進んだ。しかるべく敬われ、豊かな供物と旅の糧を受けたのち、彼は巡礼の旅をなお続け、規律正しく、吉兆のうちに歩みを進めた。
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights dharmic conduct through orderly pilgrimage and the social ethic of honoring a righteous traveler with proper hospitality and offerings, especially in sacred spaces like the Sarasvatī.
Vaiśampāyana narrates that Balarāma departs and continues his journey, traveling along the southern bank of the Sarasvatī after being respectfully provided with abundant provisions/offerings.
