Sarasvatī Tīrtha Itinerary — Balarāma’s Pilgrimage
पांसुग्रस्ते ततः कूपे विचिन्त्य सलिल॑ मुनि: । अग्नीन् संकल्पयामास होतूनात्मानमेव च
pāṃsugraste tataḥ kūpe vicintya salilaṃ muniḥ | agnīn saṃkalpayāmāsa hotūn ātmānam eva ca ||
ついで砂に塞がれた井戸の中で、聖仙は水の在り処を心に観じ、サンカルパ（誓願・決意）の力によってそこに聖火を安立し、ホートリ（祭官）として自ら一人を立てた。外の支えが欠けても、内なる規律と自立した祭儀の正しさが保たれることを示す。
