Resolve for the Mace Duel
गदां परामृशद् धीमान् धार्तराष्ट्री महाबल: । इसके बाद महाबली बुद्धिमान् दुर्योधनने लोहेकी बनी हुई वह सुवर्णभूषित भारी गदा हाथमें ली
gadāṁ parāmṛśad dhīmān dhārtarāṣṭrī mahābalaḥ |
サञ्जयは言った。「そののち、賢明にして大力なるドリタラーシュトラの子は、己がガダーを握りしめた。重く、鉄に鍛えられ、黄金で飾られたそれである。苛烈な戦の掟のもと、この瞬間はドゥルヨーダナが退却や和解ではなく、力と武器の技で敵に対峙する道を選び、意を決して備えたことを示していた。」
