भीमसेनस्य कौरवसुतवधः तथा श्रुतर्वावधः
Slaying of Kaurava princes and the fall of Śrutarvā
आप्लुत्य पाण्डवानीकं पुनर्युद्धमरोचयन् । प्रजानाथ! कुछ लोग अपने रथकी रणसामग्रीसे सुसज्जित करके पाण्डव-सेनापर चढ़ आते और अपनी प्रधानताके अनुसार किसी श्रेष्ठ वीरके साथ जूझना पसंद करते थे ।।
sañjaya uvāca | āplutya pāṇḍavānīkaṃ punar yuddham arocayan | te śūrāḥ kiḍkiṇījālaiḥ samācchannā babhāsire ||
サञ्जयは言った。般度軍に躍り込み、彼らは再び戦いを選んだ。武具で整えられ、鈴の網（キンキニー）の飾りに覆われた戦車の勇士たちは燦然と輝き—それぞれが位と武勇に応じて、第一級の戦士との一騎討ちを望んだ。
