रुधिरौघपरिक्लिन्न: प्रविश्य विपुलं तम: | आपके पुत्रद्वारा ताड़ित होकर चेकितान अत्यन्त मूर्च्छित हो रथकी बैठकमें गिर पड़ा। उस समय उसका सारा शरीर खूनसे लथपथ हो गया था
rudhiraughapariklinnaḥ praviśya vipulaṃ tamaḥ |
サンジャヤは言った。「そなたの子に打たれ、チェキターナは激しく昏倒して戦車の座へ崩れ落ちた。その時、彼の全身は血の奔流に濡れそぼち、広大な闇へ沈み入るかのようであった――戦の残酷な即時性と、武の冴えがただの破壊へ転じるときの悲劇的代価を刻む光景である。」
