शल्यपरिघातः (Śalya Under Encirclement) — Mahābhārata, Śalya-parva, Adhyāya 12
निवृत्य तु महावीर्यों समुच्छितमहागदौ । पुनरन्तरमार्गस्थौ मण्डलानि विचेरतु:
nivṛtya tu mahāvīryau samucchita-mahāgadau | punar antara-mārga-sthau maṇḍalāni viceratuḥ ||
サンジャヤは言った。やがて二人の大勇士――ビーマセーナとシャリヤ――は巨大なガダーを高く掲げ、ある時は退き、ある時は間合いの中程を保ち、ある時は大きく円を描いて回りながら、互いに隙をうかがって決闘の好機を求めた。
