वारुणी सभा — Varuṇa’s Divine Assembly
Nārada’s Description
स्रग्विणो दिव्यगन्धाश्न दिव्यगन्धानुलेपना: । आदित्यास्तत्र वरुणं जलेश्वरमुपासते,उस सभामें दिव्य हार, दिव्य सुगन्ध तथा दिव्य चन्दनका अंगराग धारण करनेवाले आदित्यगण जलके स्वामी वरुणकी उपासना करते हैं
sragviṇo divyagandhāś ca divyagandhānulepanāḥ | ādityās tatra varuṇaṃ jaleśvaram upāsate ||
ナーラダは語った。「その天上の集会において、アーディティヤ神群は—天の花鬘を飾り、天香をまとい、神聖な白檀の塗香を身に塗って—水界の主ヴァルナを礼拝している。」この光景は宇宙の秩序ある位階を示す。大いなる神々でさえ、領域の正当な主に対し、恭敬の奉仕をもって敬意を捧げるのである。
