न वैराण्यभिजानन्ति गुणान् पश्यन्ति नागुणान् । विरोधं नाधिगच्छन्ति ये त उत्तमपूरुषा:
Transliteration
yudhiṣṭhira uvāca | na vairāṇy abhijānanti guṇān paśyanti nāguṇān | virodhaṁ nādhigacchanti ye te uttama-pūruṣāḥ ||
Translation
ユディシュティラは言った。「最上の人々は怨みを数え立てない。彼らは徳を見て、過ちを見ない。敵対に踏み込まぬ。そのように生きる者こそ、まことに『優れた人』と呼ばれる。」
