vaiśampāyana uvāca | praviśya tāṃ sabhāṃ pārthā yudhiṣṭhira-purogamāḥ | sametya pārthivān sarvān pūjārhān abhipūjya ca |
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。「ジャナメージャヤ王よ、ユディシュティラを先頭に、パーンダヴァの王子たちは王の सभा（集会堂）へと入った。そこに集う諸王と相まみえ、位階と礼法に従って、敬うべき者には順に敬礼と饗応の礼を尽くした。挨拶と尊崇の務めを終えると、彼らは相応の席へと着き、麗しい敷物と覆いで飾られた、趣向を凝らした多様な座に身を落ち着けた。」
