Adhyāya 45 — Duryodhana’s Distress, Śakuni’s Counsel, and the Summons for Dyūta
शान्तविध्न: सुखारम्भ: प्रभूतधनधान्यवान् । अन्नवान् बहुभक्ष्यश्व केशवेन सुरक्षित:
śāntavighnaḥ sukhārambhaḥ prabhūtadhana-dhānyavān | annavān bahubhakṣyaś ca keśavena surakṣitaḥ ||
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。祭祀は障りを鎮め、ゆえに安らかに始まった。財宝と穀物は豊かに備わり、ケーシャヴァの守護によって食糧が尽きることは一度もなかった。常に、食物と珍味の供えは十分に整えられていた。
