Adhyāya 45 — Duryodhana’s Distress, Śakuni’s Counsel, and the Summons for Dyūta
पितृष्वसु: कृते दुःखं सुमहन्मर्षयाम्यहम् । दिष्ट्या हीदं सर्वराज्ञां संनिधावद्य वर्तते
pitṛṣvasuḥ kṛte duḥkhaṃ sumahan marṣayāmy aham | diṣṭyā hīdaṃ sarvarājñāṃ saṃnidhāv adya vartate ||
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは言った。「父方の叔母のために、私はこの甚大な苦痛と重い侮辱を耐え忍んでいる。まことに幸いなことに、今日この件は諸王すべての面前にあるのだ。」
