ततो गते भगवति कृष्णे देवकिनन्दने । जयं लब्ध्वा सुविपुल राज्ञां दत्त्वाभयं तदा
tato gate bhagavati kṛṣṇe devakīnandane | jayaṃ labdhvā suvipulaṃ rājñāṃ dattvābhayaṃ tadā, bhārata |
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。デーヴァキーの歓びである福徳の主クリシュナが去ったのち、パーンダヴァたちは大勝を得、さらにジャラーサンダに囚われていた多くの王たちに「アバヤ」（無畏—安全の保証、護送の許し）を与えた。その行いによって彼らの名声は大いに広がり、またドラウパディーの愛情と喜びをも増し加えた。
