नायं पापो मया कृष्ण युक्त: स्यादनुरोधितुम् । प्राणेन यदुशार्टूल बद्धकक्षेण वाससा,“यदुश्रेष्ठ श्रीकृष्ण! जरासंधने लंगोटसे अपनी कमर खूब कस ली है। यह पापी प्राण रहते मेरे वशमें आनेवाला नहीं जान पड़ता”
naayaṃ pāpo mayā kṛṣṇa yuktaḥ syād anurodhitum | prāṇena yaduśārṭūla baddhakakṣeṇa vāsasā ||
「おおクリシュナよ、この悪しき者は、我が手で抑え込むにも、言葉で従わせるにも、どうにも応じぬように見える。おおヤドゥ族の虎よ、彼は腰布を固く締め、最後の息まで戦うと決したかのごとし—命あるかぎり、我が支配には入るまい。」
