निधन समनुप्राप्तं समासाद्येतरेतरम् । अपने बाहुबलसे शोभा पानेवाले पाँच लाख वीर आपसमें ही लड़-भिड़कर मर मिटे
nidhanaṃ samanupprāptaṃ samāsādya itaretaram | apane bāhubalena śobhā pānevāle pāñca-lakṣa vīrāḥ āpasameṃ hī laḍ-bhiḍkar mara miṭe ||
アルジュナは言った。「定められた滅びに至るや、彼らは互いに組み合った。己の力の輝きによって名を馳せた五十万の戦士が、互いに刃を向け、至近の乱戦に及んで、最後の一人に至るまで滅び去った。」
