समालिडूग्यार्जुनं वृद्ध: स भुजाभ्यां महाभुज: । रुदन् पुत्रान् स्मरन् सर्वान् विललाप सुविह्धलः

ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。老いてなお剛腕のその人は、両腕でアルジュナを固く抱きしめた。涙を流し、すべての息子たちを思い起こして、心乱れ、悲嘆に打ちひしがれながら嘆き続けた。
