उत्पातदर्शनम् — Portents and Kāla among the Vṛṣṇis

तृणं च मुसलीभूतमपि तत्र व्यदृश्यत

tṛṇaṃ ca musalībhūtam api tatra vyadṛśyata

そしてそこでは、草の葉さえ棍棒へと変じて見えた――平凡なものが破滅の器となったという凶兆であり、まるで運命そのものが無害を害へと転じたかのようであった。
