The Commencement of the Great Departure
अयं व: फाल्गुनो भ्राता गाण्डीवं परमायुधम् । परित्यज्य वने यातु नानेनार्थोडस्ति कश्नन
ayaṃ vaḥ phālguno bhrātā gāṇḍīvaṃ paramāyudham | parityajya vane yātu nānenārtho 'sti kaścana ||
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは言った。「汝らのこの兄弟、パールグナ（アルジュナ）は、至上の武器たるガーンディーヴァの弓を捨て、森へ赴くべきである。いまや彼にとって、それは何の用もなさぬ。」
